A sojourn into the days before plastic. Manufacturers of soda water appeared in Argentina in the early 1900s and chose engraved colored glass for their product. They picked up the bottles from homes and restaurants daily and refilled them. Originals from pre-1940s Argentina, the dates (1914-1940) are stamped on the metal neck of most bottles. Display them as they are or remove the tops and add a spray of flowers. Hand-restored in Argentina. |
